What more can I say Malcolm X has had a profound effect on my life and many others. So I wanted to kick of the Black History Month with some word of wisdom from the good brother Malcolm. On of the most influential partakers in the Civil Rights Movement. If one had to select one historical personality within the period 1940 to 1975 who best represented and reflected black urban life, politics, and culture in the United States, it would be extremely difficult to find someone more central than the charismatic figure of Malcolm X/El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, May 19 in 1925, and growing up in the Midwest, young Malcolm Little was the child of political activists who supported the militant black nationalist movement of Marcus Garvey.

In 1960 Malcolm X established the newspaper Muhammad Speaks, which by the end of the decade would have a national circulation of 600,000, the most widely-read black-owned newspaper in the country. However, by this time, serious divisions developed between Malcolm X and the NOI’s patriarch, Elijah Muhammad, and his coterie of organizational leaders based in Chicago, over a number of issues. Malcolm X was personally dismayed when it was publicly revealed that Muhammad had fathered a number of children out of wedlock. He also chafed under the NOI’s political conservatism and its refusal to support civil rights protests.

In reaching out to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., James Farmer, and other civil rights leaders, Malcolm X proposed a broad coalition of black activist organizations, working in concert to achieve social justice. On Sunday afternoon, February 21, 1965, just before delivering an address at the Audubon Ballroom, Malcolm X/El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz was assassinated before a crowd of hundreds of people, including his pregnant wife Betty Shabazz and three of their four children.

Bottlenecks and infrastructure damage have been holding up aid efforts in Haiti, where Tuesday's earthquake has left as many as 45,000-50,000 dead.

There is little sign of humanitarian supplies beyond the Port-au-Prince airport, and correspondents say there is increasing anger among survivors.

Many are spending a third night without shelter in the ruined capital.

A US aircraft carrier is due to arrive off the coast of Haiti to help co-ordinate the movement of supplies.

President Barack Obama pledged a huge aid effort, but warned it would take time for help to reach people.

I remember one of my close associates (Mr. Lee) wearing these boots a couple of years back. I told him that Jersey wasn't ready for it. About a year later, it was reintroduced by Mr. Mackeel Carter which i believe he did an excellent job. Now lets fast forward to November 2009, I see everyone on the streets with the boots on. To be fair, I see people with the polo not the Ralph Laurens that retails for 640. I wish i bought some polo stocks because i predict this is going to be the new trend this winter. Im going to sound biased but i think this is one of the nicest automobiles I have seen in a long time. Originally, this was suppose to be a concept car but I guess the response was so overwhelming that the R&D team decided to bring it to life. The lexus LFA looks amazing and does resemble the lambo. No word on the price as of yet. Im guessing release date will be late 2011.

This event was put together by Rodney, Fresh Prince, Moo and Cue Gibson. I was impressed with the ambiance and the plethora of ART that took place ranging from Music to Vintage Clothing. Shot out to Peter Hadar, Moo, and all other talented artists that exhibited what we can all assume came from the soul. I believe this event happens once a month. This was a a very productive day! Went to chop it up with our connect and make sure the cracc was 100% uncut war. Weirdoz went in to try on the fall and Holiday collection from. Making sure we can meet what we think are the need and wants for our clients @ Weirdoz O.W.N.L.I. Boutique. We went through every item and choose top notch quality pieces. After placing order we had a great conversation about the "Game", The Fashion Game that is. We discuss the responsibility as us being boutique owners to educate and properly introduce dope and new brands to a customer and turn them in to a clients. Our State of New Jersey is filled with people who are so stuck in their ways we have a lot of work cut out for our selves. During this conversation jokingly the word "country" was used in reference to the way allot of guys in Jersey dressed. That's how NY view Jersey and I guess we can go back and forth name calling but we can't be in denial that allot of Jersey guys a resistant to change and only if they see a rapper with it on then its OK to wear it. Much more was shared amongst us Sellers and Buyers but it was for the better of the common good and we thank our connect!

Once again we at Weirdoz are big "Living The Life Fans" JD youtube show and to our surprise the the Homie InTynational was wearing a Weirdoz O.W.N.L.I tshirt during one of Phatfat JD's artist studio session. PhatFat has a great voice you should be on the look out for her. I like the way JD develops his artist he grooms them and gets them in tip top condition for the industry. Long gone are the days of artist development departments at major record companies. Now its either if you can sell straight out the gate or if you have a gimmick they can get some ring tone money off this single. I picked up this book at BrooksBrothers while I was trying to Get my Ocean's Swag on. Its quite interesting....I highly recommend the book. It gives you a blue print not only how to dress like a gentlemen but actually live like one. Ranging from topics on attire to wear to a wedding/bar/social gathering and turning of cell phones after 7pm, perfect time to propose.....etc.
