Riccardo Tisci for GIVENCHY

Fashion is an opinion! I like to call this the "we are the world shirt". I would crush this shirt with some crispy light blue Armani Exchange jeans, and blue Gucci high tops. In the words of the great Killa Cam "Crush Crush like the yayo" Even though this is straight of the run way its very wearable. I live for moments like this. I think Riccardo Tisci did his thing on the Givenchy project.

FASHION IS AN OPINION: NEW MEN ALEXANDER McQUEEN GLADIATOR SANDALS

I was on fifth ave a few weeks back and I decided to make a stop at barneys. I went to the mens section looking for some pierre hardys then i came across these sandals. I proceeded to tell the sales associate that someone screwed up on inventory, he corrected me by saying these are shoes are doing extremely well. He said that they were made by the late great Alexander Mcqueen specifically for men. This is when i realized that fashion is an opinion. My question to you is ladies....Would you let your boyfriend wear these sandals?

spring lanvin kicks.......what do you think?

Black History Month: 67 year old man explains the fight

This is just to follow up on the video of him whipping the younger black guy ass on the bus after he took a cheap shot at him. I take it Back Tommy your not a racist to me anymore...lol.

Best Rap Set out of New Jersey: 151 Feva Gang

The Best Rap Set out of NJ has to be 151 Feva Gang from East Orange NJ they been making noise in Jersey for a while but there fan base passes way past the Garden State. With musical influences from Atlanta GA,Houston Texas, and Miami Florida, Feva Gang has a sound that will make you look at the east coast rappers in a new light. Bottom line they got next their sound is raw and uncut, no glamour. This is what the game has been missing.

Rich Yung Society

Another great brand we carry at Weirdoz O.W.N.L.I Boutique is Rich Yung Society! Well know for being Fabulous clothing brand Rich Yung embodies the swag of what JD (Jermain Dupree) would call YFF (Young FlY and Flashy). Richy as we like to call the brand at Weirdoz, is for they young guy who wants to show off and be clean, and conservative all at the same time. Its subtle yet has bold aspects to the garment. We carry Rich Yung's great denim,t-shirts,cardigan sweaters, hoodies, jackets and other outer wear. I really hate to post pics of celebrities wearing a brand but it seems like that's the only way some people will respect a brand. I feel that it shouldn't matter who wears it. You should define what fresh is, but for those who need a little more push or convincing here are visuals to feed you your hunger. Check out Jamie Fox, T.I. and Fabulous wearing Rich Yung Society.

Black History Month- Langston Hughes

What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore--
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over--
like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.

Or does it explode? --- Langston Hughes

Let keep living out our DREAMS!

Maybe This is Why it Didn't last?

I mean I love weird chicks, they are the best. But it comes to a point when you have to ask yourself is this weird or just attention seeking/boarder line Psychosis. I used to love Kelis to me she was the idle weirdo chick but she has wronged the good brother Nas. By looking at these pictures I can see why there are issues between the two. I'm not sure if shes human or a Greek mythological character? And who is this wacko she running round town with. I hope that's not fashion designer Jeromy Scot they need to go audition for Star Track...get it Star-Track..lol woo that was a good one. What do you think?

Looking forward to spring collection from Sabit NYC

Sabit always seems to push the envelope we are expecting shipments in shortly for spring. Boy I love this clothing game! I get excitement out of seeing the product hit the boutique floors and the looks on our clients faces when they try on the new treads and when we style them for the night out. If you ever need help putting together that outfit don't be shy please stop by Weirdoz O.W.N.L.I this is what Weirdoz live for.

Black History Month

What more can I say Malcolm X has had a profound effect on my life and many others. So I wanted to kick of the Black History Month with some word of wisdom from the good brother Malcolm. On of the most influential partakers in the Civil Rights Movement. If one had to select one historical personality within the period 1940 to 1975 who best represented and reflected black urban life, politics, and culture in the United States, it would be extremely difficult to find someone more central than the charismatic figure of Malcolm X/El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, May 19 in 1925, and growing up in the Midwest, young Malcolm Little was the child of political activists who supported the militant black nationalist movement of Marcus Garvey.

In 1960 Malcolm X established the newspaper Muhammad Speaks, which by the end of the decade would have a national circulation of 600,000, the most widely-read black-owned newspaper in the country. However, by this time, serious divisions developed between Malcolm X and the NOI’s patriarch, Elijah Muhammad, and his coterie of organizational leaders based in Chicago, over a number of issues. Malcolm X was personally dismayed when it was publicly revealed that Muhammad had fathered a number of children out of wedlock. He also chafed under the NOI’s political conservatism and its refusal to support civil rights protests.

In reaching out to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., James Farmer, and other civil rights leaders, Malcolm X proposed a broad coalition of black activist organizations, working in concert to achieve social justice. On Sunday afternoon, February 21, 1965, just before delivering an address at the Audubon Ballroom, Malcolm X/El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz was assassinated before a crowd of hundreds of people, including his pregnant wife Betty Shabazz and three of their four children.
